DESIGNER BIRDHOUSE WORKSHOPS

Building a designer wooden birdhouse for your home yard is a terrific way to combine a love of nature with the good feeling of working with your hands. On Eagles Wings Inn (OEWI) will provide the materials for your personal design choice of a high quality home for the birds that choose your yard for residence. Make two birdhouses; leave one birdhouse as a permanent reminder of your stay at OEWI, and take one home for your own yard or woods.

Finished in time for the nesting season of Michigan feathered denizens, one birdhouse, made and signed by you, will grace the nature trails of OEWI where it will serve as home to a specific wild bird family, and be a guide to future OEWI nature trail hikers. You can choose the location. The second birdhouse will be for you to take home or present as a gift for a loved one.

Choice of 4 distinctive style precut kits, with all assembly tools and other materials needed for finishing, available for your use in the craft room. An experienced carpenter and craftsman will be available to provide instructions and to assist you. This opportunity is for individuals or couples wanting a unique and wildlife nurturing experience.
